August: Holiday time

Enjoy some of our holiday snaps from our time at Port Grimaud on the French Cote D'Azur.

It was so good to go to see Linda's "old" friend Vanessa and meet her lovely husband Ian and their children Alex and Charlotte.

July 2013

Action packed July and not sure how we fitted it in

• Samuel finished 6th Form and his A levels, went on his first overseas package holiday to Cyprus and a rock festival in Spain (OK mum was a little anxious!)
• Eleanor finished GCSEs and her secondary school (ready to start 6th Form at Samuel's old school
• When Samuel returned the rest of us jetted off, but that is in August... 

It's a Bartlett male tradition to smoke a huge cigar, although for anyone  raising concern it is very rare! The boy has finished school!

Then Eleanor organised a school book burning party!

15th July was our special friend Kayla Quinze Anos party (google that!)

Linda is beginning to look like the little one dropping off at the end of family photos!

April and spring starts to bloom...

Easter spent at home for the first time in years.  "Such fun" (Guess what programme I am watching on TV as I type?)

Then it was also Eleanor's 16th birthday. 

She didn't know that bringing in the cake in a Mexican restaurant involved loud music and wearing a sombrero!

So at 16 a refined tea party is in order....

February a month to reflect and rest after the festivities

Jumping for joy as very pleased to finally get there!

Linda wasn't smiling so much at the top of the Eiffel Tower as she does not have a good relationship with height!

Then we went south to Toulouse to visit dear Marie Claudette and Daniel in Toulouse. Linda and Marie Claudette have been friends since a school pen friend programme.

A great joker is Daniel!

Sad to go, but not before a good raclette meal... What surprise that Linda had to buy one when she got back!
